Wyoming Women’s Legislative Caucus Announces Transition in Leadership
Kate Debow Hayes, from High Ground Coaching and Development, will lead WyoWLC as Coordinator
Cheyenne, Wyoming – The Wyoming Women’s Legislative Caucus (WyoWLC) announced today Kate Debow Hayes of High Ground Coaching and Development will be their new Coordinator.
Kate has dedicated the past several years to providing leadership training, professional and personal development, as well as candidate development to women in Wyoming. She will be attending the Campaign Management College in December in Washington, DC, which will serve to strengthen the programs and discussions around women running for office in Wyoming.
She has attended several past Leap into Leadership programs and is thrilled to bring her passion and knowledge to the WyoWLC and its Leap into Leadership programs.
Past Coordinators Kristin Walker and Jessica Jaubert will collaborate with Kate through Leap into Leadership 2020 to ensure a seamless transition of leadership.
“We are excited to bring Kate onboard and look forward to the ideas and passion she will bring to WyoWLC,” says WyoWLC Co-Chair Representative Sue Wilson. “Kate frequently travels across the state, and we hope to bring some of these programs to women in their communities.”
“The number of Leap into Leadership participants grows each year as we’ve strengthened the content of our programs,” says WyoWLC Co-Chair Senator Affie Ellis. “Kate’s knowledge and ideas will ensure the program continues to flourish for the benefit of Wyoming women.”
“Leap into Leadership has been a cornerstone of encouraging women to run for office for 13 years, and we are confident Kate will continue to build upon our programming and bring new ideas to the organization,” says WyoWLC Co-Chair Representative Cathy Connolly. “Her experience with leadership programs and passion for our mission will serve us well as we continue our outreach to women.”
With this change in leadership, the WyoWLC will be based in Riverton, Wyoming. WyoWLC’s new mailing address is Post Office Box 882, Riverton, Wyoming, 82501. Their website wyowlc.org and email address info@wyowlc.org will remain the same.
